Welcome to Wichita Airsoft

 

Wichita Airsoft's mission is to provide a site for discussion for airsoft enthusiasts from all walks of life.  We hold Competitions, Tournaments and Scenario Games for the Wichita Kansas Area Airsofters.This site was built to bring teams together so they may share war stories, games, ideas, and build a strong community of airsofters.

 

Airsoft is a modern combat sport or recreational hobby in which participants eliminate opponents by hitting each other with spherical non-metallic pellets launched from a compressed-air gun (or Soft Air gun) powered by gas, manual spring-load, or an electrically powered gearbox.

Airsoft participants organize meetings, either indoors or outdoors, at a dedicated airsoft battlefield to play a variety of games ranging from short-term skirmishes, organized scenarios, military simulations, or historical reenactments.

Combat situations on the battlefield often involve the use of common military tactics to achieve the objectives set in each game. Participants typically employ the use of varying types of weaponry designed as replicas of real firearms, tactical gear, and accessories used by modern military and police organizations.

There is no requirement to join Wichita Airsoft other then the desire to play and/or learn about the game of airsoft. We look forward to working with you in hopes that we may promote airsoft in our area. Bring us your thoughts and ideas.

 

We have recenlty installed new forum software that will allow us to bring more things to the community. Unfortunately, everyone will have to re-register for the forums. We hope that you enjoy what we have brought to this community and are always looking for suggestions to better promote our beloved sport.

 

The main site uses a different database then the forums. If you register for the main site you will need to also register for the forums in order to post.
